Chicken Pie from Aldrich's Mom

It’s Christmas and look what I get from Aldrich’s mom?

Chicken pie!!

It’s actually the first time that she gave me a Chicken Pie and it’s delicious. Extremely!! Other than that, she gave me another pie which is the Apple Pie and she said that it’s better to eat it with ice cream. I tried and omgosh, I can’t say a word but just enjoy a spoonful of pie!

Well, I brought it to office and share with everybody. Heat, cut, and served.
Everybody love it! I’m so happy.

Kundasang Trip just for the kids Part 4

The Cottage Hotel is actually located quite near to one of the attraction in Sabah which is the Kundasang War Memorial.


So, we stopped by there at The Cottage Hotel just to have our lunch. Dishes are quite okay just that there are too many flies there which it is quite annoying but what to do? Cold places, more flies.

The kids love the environment which is cold. They manage to snap some pictures outside the restaurant and unbelievable that we saw a caterpillar!

Other than that, from here, we get a view of the villager’s house and farm as well.

Kundasang Trip just for the kids Part3

Kinabalu Park it’s a place which have the most beautiful view of our Mount Kinabalu. It is clear when it is in a good weather but somehow when it is raining then unfortunately you won’t have the chance to enjoy the view. Every climber do come here and get ready because the starting point is in this park.


Well, I never get the chance to climb Mount Kinabalu but for sure that one day, one day I will climb it until the top (if I can reach). How I wish I can go but daddy said that I must have a full training before going. Yet, I still think that I’m okay to climb now as I did exercise regularly.

Kundasang Trip just for the kids Part 2

Nabalu is a place where tourist can stop by to purchase some souvenirs from the Native. It is all hand made but of course some are not. Once we reached, we took some pictures of the Crocker Range and some flowers which rarely see in the city. It’s cold here so the flowers bloom nicely and firm which also have the bright and vibrant colours.

Kundasang Trip just for the kids Part1

Heading our way to Kundasang but of course, we stop by Tamparuli for breakfast. This is called the Tuaran Mee which shown in the picture and this restaurant serves the best Tuaran Mee in Tamparuli. You can even ask for ‘ka liu’ (add on) for this and it will have more meat and mee. Well, it is unbelievable that the kids manage to finish the whole plate which daddy order for add on.

Gosh.

Merry Christmas to everybody!

Today I went to Kundasang and bring along the kids. My niece and nephews and my cousin. Daddy and mommy and sister were there as well. Before heading to their place to fetch them, I started to read the card that given by the youth in Church yesterday night. The title "The Christmas Gift".

In this card, there are stories in it and I admit that I cried when I read through the pages.

Day 4: When God Stepped Out

Maybe I should tell you more about the stories? Hmm... Or not?

Received presents from the Siblings!

Get this presents from the siblings. Haha! And it’s my first time receiving Christmas presents actually and I’m so happy when the time I was receiving it! Opppsy, Aldrich bought me something this time! Well, because must of the years I’ve been in Kuala Lumpur and I can’t come back for Christmas. I have classes to attend only until I come back for Chinese New Year then both of us can meet. Although it is just sweets or candy and cookie but it is sweet that I barely open my eyes.


And I bought something for both of us. New Chocolate from Cadbury!

Morning Breakfast with Little Niece

My little beautiful niece wanted to go for a short walk in Suria Sabah because she just came back from KL actually and that’s why she hardly can have her time in Kota Kinabalu. She’s really really pretty. But anyway, this is my breakfast today where it is located in Damai. Restaurant named Da Chen.

Dishes here are quite expensive for me but the quality and the quantity of the food is a lot! I will show you how big are my dumpling. The fillings are prawns, meat, some mushrooms. Omg. The taste of it is brilliant and of course, it’s dumpling right? So, the juicy soup inside the dumpling it’s really tasty! Better not to drop it into the soup while you are eating the dumpling because the sauce inside is really good!

Dinner at Pizza Hut

Before meeting everyone, and before that Baby and I went to the town to buy some presents!!!!

Then, Aldrich and I went for dinner and we couldn’t find anything to eat that day.

We wanted to go for the lamb chop but it’s closed. So, we have no other choice but to go Pizza Hut instead.

Well, it’s because it is near and for sure open like everyday.

Cinnamon Cookies + Recipe

Today, I decided to bake Cinnamon cookies.
At first, this idea came from the cookies from Promenade Hotel. It’s Cinnamon cookies as well. When I try on the Promenade’s Cinnamon cookies, I love it so much and trying to taste what they use to make this. So, in the end it’s Cinnamon.

I try and try to find Cinnamon Powder this morning and I can’t find it. Then it leaves me no choice but to ask the cashier. Actually, I’ve asked one of them but they didn’t know what Cinnamon is. Luckily the other (I think it’s the boss) knew. So, I wonder how many Cinnamon spices do Promenade used. Then I bought two bottles of that. At least I have a spare right?

Almost in the afternoon after I take my lunch, I started to do. Maria was so busy which she only have one method to teach me is by answering my questions. Haha. First, I make sure I have every ingredients needed. Oh ya, I get the ingredients from the internet then I printed it yesterday.

2 cups of Sugar and ½ cup of Butter. Make it pale and smooth and fluffy.

Beat in eggs until combined. But not for too long unless it’s cake.

Mix in sifted flour mixture (2 cups of all purpose flour + 2 ½ cinnamon + ½ salt) until combined

Form dough into a disk and chill, wrapped in plastic wrap, until form, about 1 hour.

Then chop chop with any shapes you want. Then bake for 10 – 20 minutes.

DONE!

Something special for my baby is to put strawberry fillings.

One for him, one for me!

As long as it’s flour, she loves. She loves bread and she can finish one whole pack of that. She loves pizza because it's made of flour right?
